il88pp
For FSX. Not really something special this. Not very useful either. I discovered how to make the default b737-800 eicas gauge display the amount of fuel on board as: "COFFEE LBS" instead of the usual "FUEL LBS". (or KG, depending on units used in FSX) (can be changed to another beverage as well of course.) Just in case someone wants to do this for themselves, it is a very simple gauge change. This is for the default b737-800 eicas. inside b737-800.cab file: eicas.xml find line: FUEL %((P:Units of measure, enum) 2 !=)%{if}LBS%{else}KG%{end} and change the word FUEL to your favourite beverage. (stick to short words. "PEACE_OF_STRAWBERRY_CHEESCAKE" would probably not work out well.) Enjoy, il88pp. [sIGPIC][/sIGPIC]
mrzippy
Now the question is.....how much peanut butter and bratwurst is loaded in the cargo holds? Still thinking about a new flightsim only computer!
il88pp
We have that stuff in the galley:) Grill 'm up fresh and serve them to the passengers with bread and plenty of mustard and Saurkraut. Stock 'm up fresh at every port. I trust my crew to stock up plenty. I always fly with the same team. But I'll keep the idea of a gauge in mind. n4gix
You serve sauerkraut in a closed, pressurized aircraft? Do you then scavenge the methane to supplement the JP4 for the engines? Bill Leaming http://smileys.sur-la-toile.com/repository/Combat/0054.gif Gauge Programming - 3d Modeling Military Visualizations Flightsim.com Panels & Gauges Forum Moderator Flightsim Rig: Intel Core i7-2600K - 8GB DDR3 1333 - EVGA GTX770 4GB - Win7 64bit Home Premium Development Rig1: Intel Core i7-3770k - 16GB DDR3 - Dual Radeon HD7770 SLI 1GB - Win7 64bit Professional Development Rig2: Intel Core i7-860 - 8GB DDR3 Corsair - GeForce GTS240 1GB - Win7 64bit Home Premium NOTE: Unless explicitly stated in the post, everything written by my hand is MY opinion. il88pp
Ah! That explains why sometimes in outside view I suddenly notice the door is open! Makes more sense now. Thanks! :p il88pp [sIGPIC][/sIGPIC]
