vomacka
Has anyone used this file: _____________________________ Name: fsx_2d_cabin_window_wing_view_panel.zip Size: 563,923 Date: 01-05-2013 Downloads: 1,709 FSX 2D Cabin Window Panel for use with wing views in FSX. As we all know, FSX doesn't provide this function, so here is a solution that can make this feature available. This is a fixed pop-up 2D panel window that can be used as an overlay panel in 3D wing view mode in FSX. By Hassan Ezzeddine By Hassan Ezzeddine. ______________________________ How is it? If possible, please post screenshots of your wing-views so I can have a better idea of what the file is like. I am hoping that this will work OK with my POSKY 737-800W, 757-200W and 777-200ER models. Anything else that I should know before I download? Thanks for your help. Scott Windows 10 Home 64bit. FSX Deluxe with Acceleration. mrzippy
Nope, let us know how it works! Still thinking about a new flightsim only computer!
il88pp
I expect it's a 2D popup with a hole in it (for the window). You choose wingview, then op up the popup, to give the impression of a cabin, seats and through the window you still see the wing. If so it is not a cabin you can pan around in. MBKHOU
Seems to me hoggydawg was trying that out several months ago.. Hadn't seen him in a while.. Seemed to work OK as I remember. Some use them when making videos so they will have a window frame, and can also add dirty glass FX.
vomacka
The POSKY planes I mentioned above do not have any wing view cameras. Somehow I would have to create a camera wing view, I guess? The pics he show in the download are for the default aircraft. The read-me does not help in explaining anything but installation. Scott Windows 10 Home 64bit. FSX Deluxe with Acceleration. vomacka
Ok, I got it to work with the POSKY 737. First, I set up a wing view camera. SHIFT-S gives me this view... http://i96.photobucket.com/albums/l182/vomacka/737%20Wing%20view1_zpslov5z41o.jpg SHIFT-9 gives me the window view... http://i96.photobucket.com/albums/l182/vomacka/737%20Wing%20view2_zpste41msq6.jpg However, it gets tiresome doing all those key strokes to bring up these window/wing views. Is there a way to have both views (SHIFT-S, SHIFT-9) activate with just one key-stroke? (SHIFT-9 brings up both window/wing view at the same time) Any ideas on this? Thanks.
