The Orbx Airport Work Around.

I found an Orbx airport work around of my own for P3D V2.4

 

 

While all installers will NOT work with it yet, simply copy your FSX ORBX folder into P3DV2.4.

 

Then, you will want to add it to your scenery library airport by airport in the folder. This will reload the library each time, and you're airports will be available for use as well as regions.

Doesn't work. People Flow and various other elements are broken. You NEED specific files for P3D.

 

Vic and I are both telling it like it is. Don't listen at your peril. It can be tremendously difficult to uninstall ORBX and FTX addons.

 

And your advice misses a very obvious step. Something you wouldn't - couldn't - miss if you had actually done it.

Johnny - if it were as simple as copying the FSX folder, don't you think ORBX would have posted that? Or you could just leave the folder where it is and add a link to it in the scenery library. Problem is that, as previously stated - it doesn't work properly.

 

Best to wait like the rest of us.

I know I saw the Concrete airport, but yeah, you guys are probably right. Best to wait. I might not have gotten everything that I did to get it to show up. I don't like being referred to as a "liar" on something like that.

We are flight sim enthusiasts Johnny - never a "liar" - of course we MAY embellish the trust a tad - especially when quoting FPS!
