vomacka
In my POSKY 757-200W aircraft.cfg file, I noticed something that did not look right.... [GeneralEngineData] engine_type = 1 Engine.0 = 10.200, -21.250, -3.290 Engine.1 = 10.200, 21.350, -3.290 Notice the second set of numbers (21.XXX) They are both different (-21.250, 21.350). Would this cause any problems in the planes flight dynamics? What should these values be? Which number is correct? File name: os752_continental_airlines_wingletversion POSKY.zip Thanks. Scott CNJC-IPMS P.S. I also downloaded a few other updated POSKY 757's and they have the same problem in this section. Windows 10 Home 64bit. FSX Deluxe with Acceleration. Motherboard: ASUS Prime H310M-E R2.0 LGA1151 (Intel 8th Gen) DDR4 HDMI VGA H310 Micro ATX. Processor: Intel® Core™ i3-8350K. Video: EVGA GeForce GT 1030 DDR4, 02G-P4-6232-KR, 2GB SDDR4. copperpen
Should not affect flight dynamics. Those figures are based on the aircraft centre line and are right and left positions in feet from that imaginary line. They are slightly different with one having the - symbol to show it is on the opposite side to the other one. The distance for both is the same on each side from that imaginary centre line. vomacka
I understand that now. However, why are these two numbers (21.xxx) different? I think they are supposed to be the same. If so, which is the correct number to use? Is this an error on the designers part? Scott CNJC-IPMS Windows 10 Home 64bit. FSX Deluxe with Acceleration. CptCaveman
The data is correct. Its the engines horizontal position from the centerline. Since the engines are on the wings it has a positive value for one side and a negative value for the other. Do not screw around with it. You will break the plane. mrzippy
The difference in the 2 numbers(besides the minus sign) is minnieskewel compared to the overall picture. I wouldn't screw around with that at all! Still thinking about a new flightsim only computer!
PAULCRAIG
The difference between the 2 numbers (21.250 & 21.350) is less than 0.5% so it would not make that much difference.
