Repaint of payware FlyingIron Bf 109
 

This very accurate and detailed repaint shows real existing BF-109 G-4 in its current color scheme. Today, aircraft is based at Manching Airport Germany. It is owned by Airbus Group.
 

History:
Hispano Aviación HA-1112-M1L Buchón C/N 139, coded C.4K-75, was produced in 1950 at Hispano in Spain. Allocated to the 71st squadron, but was never in service. Acquired by Maestranza Aerea de Sevilla 1965. Decommissioned after 216 hours, 50 minutes of pure flying time at Tablada AFB. Was purchased 1966 by Battle of Britain movie production, transported to England (T.G.Mahaddie/Spitfire Productions Ltd.) with the registration G-AWHG. Modified to look like a Bf 109 E-4. Flies as Yellow 11 and Red 14 in the movie ‘Battle of Britain’. Was damaged 1969 during take-off from Le-Havre. Was on ferry flight for the movie ‘Patton’.
 

Came to Paul Jameson, Betchworth, UK in disassembled condition in 1970. 1974 aircraft was sold in the USA. New owner was Meryl D. Schulke, Orlando, FL with registration N3109G. Later David C. Tallichet, Chino CA. In 1986 new owner MARC (Military Airc Rest Corp), Chino, CA, as N3109, restored in Casper, WY. Aircraft crashes during a test flight in Casper, WY and is restored to resemble a Bf 109 for static display.
 

Sold to buyers in La Ferté Alais France in 1995/1996. Some time later, the fuselage is taken to the company Bitz Flugzeugbau in Augsburg, Germany. The wing areas remain in France. Aircraft purchased by MAC (Messerschmitt Air Company) in Albstadt/Degerfeld 1997.

Over the following years the plane is restored from scratch and made airworthy by Dieter Beck, Werner Grammel, Wilhelm Heinz and Siegfried Knoll, and is modified to use a DB 605 engine. 2004: Another maiden flight as Bf 109 G-4, flown by Walter Eichhorn.
 

Suffers serious damage while landing at Albstadt-Degerfeld airfield in 2005. The pilot Siegfried Knoll is unhurt. MAC carries out a total of 103 flights with an overall flight time of 32 hours. In 2007 the owners at the time want to sell the aircraft and contacted EADS. Negotiations run smoothly and EADS becomes the new owner of the Rote Sieben. Maiden flight after successful restoration by MAC in 2008.
 

During the second flight after restoration, the plane suffers a belly landing in Manching after problems with the landing gear. Another maiden flight takes place after repairs in Manching Germany in 2009.
 

Belly landing in Roskilde Denmark 2013 after engine problems. New maiden flight after repair was 2014 piloted by Klaus Plasa.
 

In the afternoon of 26th August 2016, aircraft was badly damaged in a take-off accident at Manchig Airport. The pilot was not injured. Until today (July 2023) Rote 7 is under repair/restauration at Manching Germany.
