Update for CS-1 Stallion

Hello everyone, attached are some progress pictures for my simulator enclosure. It is starting to come together and I have moved into my office.

Here is the inside with the outer covers painted black on the inside. This will be where the three large monitors reside for the outside view.

Still have to remove the instrument panel and paint it gray. I also need to cut, paint and install the outside skins. I will post again on how I accomplished all of this. We are moving to a new house so there will some delays till my next posting, but I will have more room for my work that needs to be done in the new garage.

Looking good! Did you decide what to do for the seating? I'm still undecided on whether to use some chopped up office chair, find a small car seat at a pick-and-pull, or use a boat seat (which someone recommended on some forum or other).

 

I'm about to start my monitor hood too so it's good to see yours as inspiration!

Itmustbesaid: I have several ideas and thoughts. I saw one design I thought would work really well in my combat simulator that I am going to assemble next, but wasn't sure how it would work for my C172 simulator.

 

I will post some of the seat ideas in a blog later this week. I really like the seats that are in one of the videos I found for the CS-1 Stallion but I was unable to find the plans. Best regards
