Photogenic Scenery

Can I assume that you are referring to Photo-Real scenery? If so, then it is mainly for high altitude tubeliner type flying. The lower you get the flatter it gets. On the ground a Photo-Real building and such can look like a pancake.

Still thinking about a new flightsim only computer!  ✈️

My major complaint with photoscenery is that it doesn't blend with surrounding scenery, so you have a sharp line of demarcation that is glaringly obvious when flying over it. Also, from my experience, most photoscenery looks great from 10k ft or higher, but not as satisfying from 3k ft (a noteable exception is the BlueSky scenery, but it takes a powerful system to display it ...my old abacus can't even keep up with texture loading when flying a Piper Cub down the Grand Canyon).
