m4v34
Recently the cockpit panels (2-D) on my FSX aircraft screen show up in a 'ghost like' image, although all my (3-D) panels are not effected. This happened recently after down loading a few 'add-on' aircraft files. I've attempted various methods, e,g, deleting recently installed aircraft.cfg Cabs, gauges, etc. - no chage. Can anyone on the Form kindly assist ?
mrzippy
Check your slider in FSX/Settings/Customize/Aircraft to be sure your 2D panels are at 0% transparency! Ok, Ok, I fixed it!;) Still thinking about a new flightsim only computer!
PhantomTweak
Ummmmm... Not to argue, or anything, but the slider is 2D Panel Transparency. If you set it full right (100%), the 2D panels will be totally transparent. Set it to 0% (full LEFT) to make them as "solid" as the 3D Panels. But then, Zippy has always been a little bit bass-ackwards :D :p Hope this helps a little :) Pat☺ [sIGPIC][/sIGPIC] Had a thought...then there was the smell of something burning, and sparks, and then a big fire, and then the lights went out! I guess I better not do that again! Sgt, USMC, 10 years proud service, Inactive reserve now :D
lnuss
Not that it's a major problem or anything, but I'm curious why you chose the Real World section instead of the FSX section to post your question. Thankfully, you still got the help you needed. Larry N. As Skylab would say: Remember: Aviation is NOT an exact Science!
