Slow Loading Scenery Textures Problems

hi all guys first (sory for my very bad english) :( but i try my best .. i run fsx on ultra all max with 100+fsp afte some serch on google cfg fix so my fps is very good rigth now but... if i run more from 200 knots with any plane or if i chance to outside camera all textures is blurry so mach and game is unplable after this is like 40 years old game ... my problem is slow loading scenery textures... :( how i can fix this i only find this FIBER_FRAME_TIME_FRACTION=50.00 if i put here 50.00 i have texture just for some time more but again the problem start after 1 minite max ....my system specs is ati 390x asus strix 8gb vram my cpu is amd fx8320 with overclock 4,6 ghz my ram is ddr3 16gb 2133 mhz cl9 ...i i use rex 4 texture and my fst is the steam version .... here my cfg file i am very noob and new on fsx plz if somone know i love this game and 1 month i try every day fix this ... i cant find how

This is simply a case of your CPU and/or videocard not being to keep up with the requirements of the game. Only solution is a faster system.

 

I wouldn't fiddle with the FIBER_FRAME_TIME_FRACTION - just leave it at default settings.

 

Usepools=0 might help if your videocard is up to it.

As you have noticed, having high FPS does not always make for a smooth, good looking Sim!

I think overloading the system.

Obvious thins to reduce:

All in all I think, startt over!

Rebuild the fsx.cfg fresh, then only use the in-game menu to set up your settings.

 

To refresh the fsx.cfg:

Close FSX (

rename the fsx.cfg file to:

fs -0- 160502.cfg

(number and todays date)

That way you have it as a backup, and the working .cfg file is removed.

Then start FSX.

It will build a fresh fsx.cfg file for you on starting.

Considering that someone replied to the effect that your system basically wasn't really up to running FSX (which is my problem too, but I just live with it), I'd be interested to know what exactly you did to fix your problem.

You might be surprized at what systems can run FSX well.

The race isn't always to the swift...

 

And bear in mind, FPS isn't the be-all and end-all so many seem to think it is. If the Sim runs SMOOTHLY, even at 25 FPS let's say, then it's better off than a system that can run at 100 FPS but stutters and staggers along. It how SMOOTH, not how many FPS you can milk out of it.

 

I didn't see what your video card is, but if it's an NVidea, you might cansider the NVidea Inspector. It can make a very beneficial addition to your software stable. IF you have an NVidea card...

i use ati 390X STRIX VIDEO CARD MY PROBLEM stop because i buy some programs for boost fsx i dont know if is ok if i write names of programs here i dont know the rules but the fsxbooster and fsx fiber accelerator fix all my problems now game is very smooth and i dont have bluries problem again !! is cheap and realy nice programs i found this programs after hours on google ... sory for my bad english !! i lock my fps to 40 and game is realy nice now i love it !! :) i am hapy with fsx now

i was going to say,, your issue was you had no upper frame rate limit. Fiber frame fraction does nothing if FPS is set to unlimited. So therefore the FSX fiber accelerator program is doing that on the fly.

In time you will get some serious aircraft and scenery packages that will push your system to the limit and even what you have now will not be good enough. When that happens, you will need to start mucking with :

TEXTURE_BANDWIDTH_MULT=160

And a new entry called TEXTUREMAXLOAD which will be somewhere between 2 and 9 depending on your ram speed.

I'm having this same issue. I'm running an i7 3.4ghz 6800 with a GTX 1070 and my scenery loads up slowly or starts to appear as I get closer to certain buildings or landmarks. I want to be able to get the same graphics as in that picture and no issues with scenery loading. If anyone knows what tweaks I should do, let me know. I've tried almost every tweak youtube tutorial, but no dice. I must be inputting something wrong on my .cfg or Nvidia settings.

Kosta's Tweaks, stickied up at the top of this forum are really good, and the tweaks on THIS FORUM can also be very beneficial.

Remember to put in ONE tweak, from any source, at a time, then test it thoroughly. If it improves things, great! If not take it out and move on the next one. Every system is different, and they all need different tweaks to make them work their very best.

Make a back-up of the "virgin", or unchanged file, before you start. That way, you can always go back to the beginning and start over if something goes totally pear-shaped. Every beneficial change you make, make another back-up, so you don't loose the good changes you've made as you go. If a change messes things up, you don't have to start over, just back up one or two steps and then move on. Can save a lot of frustration, and time re-inserting changes that you do want.

Use sequential names, like FSX_1.cfg, FSX_2.cfg, etc as you go so you can keep track of the good changes you make as you find them.

Nick's Bible also has changes to the NI config, too. Again, I, personally, have found many of them very efficacious (big word of the week :D ). This is just my own personal experience however. As the saying goes, your mileage may vary.

Good luck, and have fun, no matter how much or little you tweak things. I, myself, am an inveterate tweaker of things. I just can't seem to keep my fingers out of things... :p :D
