lnuss
Many of you have already seen this, I'm sure, but for those who haven't, here is a video (40 + minutes) covering the launch today of the SpaceX Dragon (spaceship) headed for the ISS and the first (fifth try) successful landing of the first stage on a drone ship (sure was pretty). This is a really exciting first, since it will help advance space travel and it will help reduce costs for that travel. I've been reading about this stuff since I first read Robert A. Heinlein's Rolling Stones and Rocket Ship Galileo when I was in my early teens, and now the commercial part of that is starting to happen. Between this and SpaceShip Two (Rutan's design followup), there's a lot of exciting stuff starting to happen. Larry N. As Skylab would say: Remember: Aviation is NOT an exact Science! mrzippy
Reminds me of Rocky Jones-Space Ranger landing the Orbit Jet on her tail! Just like the good ol' days of space travel. Still thinking about a new flightsim only computer!
