gregdpw Posted June 3, 2015 Share Posted June 3, 2015 i downloaded the Kdtw scenery and by the looks of it the roof is missing and so are the building textures. When looking at the airport roof there is about 1/8 of the silver roof flickering. I am quite confused on this one. I followed the readme instructions to a T. The only thing I can think of is it told me to take two jfk textures and copy and paste them. But I followed everything right. Fsx. Rex4. Asn. Ezdok. Orbx global. When you say you did a download and it doesn't look right, it's very helpful to give a link or a file name of the download so we can look at it and help. I found KDTW_RS_FSX.zip in the library and it looks like what you are showing. I get pretty much the same results looking at the terminal roof. My shot is from a different angle. I'm no scenery design expert, but I'm thinking the developer left out some important .bgl files. The 2 JFK textures were for the jetways. I put red marks on the roof that is missing the new shape as compared to the developer's screenshots. Still thinking about a new flightsim only computer! Must be the author lost out of sight KDTW looks different with Accel installed. I compared the FSX Deluxe terminal to the Acceleration terminal and the only difference I found was one material setting, not enough to cause this. I also tested the Deluxe version in Acceleration and it looks OK. I wonder if gregdpw is using FSX Standard like Zippy, and that is the difference? peace, the Bean WWOD---What Would Opa Do? I'm going to email the developer. After looking at this more closely, my KDTW does look like the developer's pictures. I was looking at the wrong part of the roof.
