Simon10
Does anybody know how I make autorudder the default choice in aircraft realism settings? Every time I shut down FSX the auto rudder option is diasbled and turned off the next time I load FSX. I would be nice to have the autorudder on always as I don´t have pedals at the moment...:(
mrzippy
The only thing I can think of is....do you have any key commands programmed for AutoRudder on/off and maybe you are pressing that key by mistake? Still thinking about a new flightsim only computer!
lnuss
Is it a normal clean shutdown, or is there a problem causing the shutdown. Try firing up the sim and, once the flight is loaded, enable autorudder. Then use the FILE menu exit command before going any further. If that works, fine, but if not then perhaps you don't have write permissions in the folder where fsx.cfg is kept (somewhere under documents, depending on your version of Windows). You could also edit your fsx.cfg file and under the REALISM section check: AutoCoord=False or AutoCoord=True Set it to True. Larry N. As Skylab would say: Remember: Aviation is NOT an exact Science! napamule2
That is why it is important to set the C-172 with whatever you want to 'keep' (sliders, realism, weather, time & season, clouds, wind, airport, runway, radios, electrical switch) and then save as 'DEFAULT' flight. This flight (and options) is what will be 'loaded' upon start of FSX. This is then a TOOL. Use it. You can then select a different airplane, and then perhaps a FLIGHT so you can go start where you left off with that airplane, and at whatever the FLIGHT airport you were at when you saved that FLIGHT. This is also a TOOL. Use it. ** 'DON'T FORCE IT..USE A BIGGER HAMMER' ** Chuck B Napamule i7 2600K @ 3.4 Ghz (Turbo-Boost to 3.877 Ghz), Asus P8H67 Pro, Super Talent 8 Gb DDR3/1333 Dual Channel, XFX Radeon R7-360B 2Gb DDR5, Corsair 650 W PSU, Dell 23 in (2048x1152), Windows7 Pro 64 bit, MS Sidewinder Precision 2 Joy, Logitech K-360 wireless KB & Mouse, Targus PAUK10U USB Keypad for Throttle (F1 to F4)/Spoiler/Tailhook/Wing Fold/Pitch Trim/Parking Brake/Snap to 2D Panel/View Change.
