An updated version of Jet Simming 21st Century by flight-sim author and instructor Bill Stack has been released by TopSkills. The updated manual describes and explains the Cessna Citation CJ4 and Cessna Citation Longitude that were substantially upgraded by Microsoft and Asobo in 2023. “Microsoft’s upgraded Cessna jets are very different from their previous renditions,” notes Mr. Stack. “I tested the new models, recorded their performance figures, and analyzed those data. My upgrade explains changes to the physical and performance characteristics as well as operational systems and the flight-management computers.” Chapters about the Airbus A320, Boeing 747-8I, and Boeing 787-10 Dreamliner have been enhanced as well. Instructions, images, tables, checklists, definitions, explanations, and descriptions for all the book’s jets have been improved and sharpened. With 340 pages, the upgraded book has almost 10 percent more content for the same price. Jet Simming 21st Century explains jet basics, planning and preparing, and step-by-step procedures for all flight phases from pre-flight at departure airports through shutdown at destinations. "I spent several months updating this comprehensive manual," notes author Bill Stack. “Flight simmers seeking true realism will enjoy their enhanced simulations as a result.” Jet Simming 21st Century Version 2 is available here from the FlightSimCom Store. Consumers who purchased Version 1 can download Version 2 from their retailers for no additional cost.

You need to know how tofly an aircraft in the first place, and how to read its instrumentsand use its controls. You need to rely solely on instruments withoutseeing visual references outside the aircraft. Using official aviationcharts is extremely beneficial. /images/notams/notams21/tops0106.jpgGet Ready for Simulating in Fast and Powerful Aircraft Pilots spend considerable time planning their flights and preparingtheir aircraft. Preflight checklists are often longer than flightphases. Make your simulations as realistic as possible by expertlyplanning and preparing your flights like real pilots. Learn these fundamental steps of flight-sim preparation: Simulator setup Aircraft and route selection Flight planning Flight-deck preparationApply Instrument Flight RulesInstrument flight rules (IFR) are required for almost all jetflights. Learn basic requirements such as designated altitudes andheadings as well as fuel requirements. See where to find moreinformation. Prepare Your AircraftLearn about preparing your aircraft with fuel and payload. Familiarize yourself with your flight deck. Examine buttons, knobs, switches, levers, and instruments. It focuses on planningand preparing jet flights in the Cessna CJ4 Citation. Microsoft FlightSimulator 2020 is used because it is most popular. Principles andmethods can be applied to other aircraft and simulation programs. The video does not explain everything real-world pilots do forflight planning and preparation because not all aspects are reflectedin home flight-sim programs. Accordingly, this video is not forreal-world aviation. Purchase TopSkills - Jet Simming - Planning and Preparing for MSFS See other TopSkills videos for MSFS 2020
