daspinall
I use to fly the beaver in fs2004 quite regularly around BC when I lived there.... I downloaded a modded msfs beaver on flightsim.to I set off in bad weather from Revelstoke and made a freeflight down to Pitts Meadows. I managed to defrost the cockpit after takeoff, thankfully the weather cleard as the flight progressed.... First leg of the flight I was getting reacquainted with the old boy.... It's a good modle and flys very nicely when you get the feel for it, no flightplan on this trip and no use of autotpilot.... Hands on all the way it was great..... Rupert
Nice shots! I sure hope this modeling includes the wonderful sounds of that rotary motor!! When I went back to RW flying H-46s after a short time flying H-34s I really missed the motor sound of the 34!!! The GE-T58s sure provide a wonderful power to weight ratio. But their shriek is nothing like wonderful roar of a rotary recip.! Michael Being an old chopper guy I usually fly low and slow.
