qwertydavid
When I'm in 2d cockpit view press W or CTRL + 1, etc, a box flashes on the screen for half a second and disappears. Panels won't display at all, in any aircraft, whether I select them thru kb shortcuts or clicking thru the menus. Any help greatly appreciated. mrzippy
Are you running the boxed FSX or FSX-SE? When you press the W key and the box flashes, what are you left with....the original 2D panel? Did this function ever work correctly? Still thinking about a new flightsim only computer!

Cockpit view displays no panels at all. This has always been the case on this (recent) install.

tpollen
There's a slider setting in Aircraft Tab of the Display Settings for 2D Panel Transparency, its probably set itself to 100%. Just reduce the slider to 0%. That should fix it.
mikeperry
In FSXSE I am having issues where multiple panels on aircraft are not showing up. The slider setting in Aircraft Tab of the Display Settings for 2D Panel Transparency is set to 0%. In some cases I see what looks like a heads up display. Any help/suggestions appreciated. skyliner503
There's a slider setting in Aircraft Tab of the Display Settings for 2D Panel Transparency, its probably set itself to 100%. Just reduce the slider to 0%. That should fix it. Even though this was many years ago, it's helped me today, December, 2022. Thanks!
