jorgen.s.andersen
Install P3D in its place first. Run it and fly a short flight, exit it. Then install the add-ons in the places you want them to go, and they should now find P3D through the registry. But remember one thing: when you install add-ons, install them one by one and test for functionality after installing each one. Then, if you have problems, you know which add-on caused it. morsabalto
Hi thank you . the sim works great! I have active sky next which is my first hurdle. So when installing activesky directs me to locate prepar3d application data which i've done to no avail. I'm not sure if i have to load everything on the drive with my OS. Or if there is a program i saw called Shell or something that provides a link or shortcut between my HDD and SSD or if everything including OS should be on the SSD. At this point i'm reaching out to everyone for help before i do a fresh reload of windows and start all over which would really hurt my moral. jorgen.s.andersen
Exactly which ActiveSky version are you trying to install? And what version of P3D, and was that your first install of P3D? Jorgen
mallcott
Active Sky will need updating to ASP3d. No using an FSX product in this sim! New install will be needed.
