jankees
In reaction to the discussion in another thread on FS9, I did some digging and I found some really old screenshots from my FS9 days. I started painting aircraft with FS9, and was also looking for scenery enhancements and better cloud textures to try and make my shots as realistic as possible. In real life I'm a geologist, often studying the landscape, so the default textures just were not good enough for me, so I looked for photoreal ground textures, or I tried to obscure them with clouds or snow. Here's a few of my shots, hopefully showing that FS9 could look quite nice: F-BHAJ-4 by JanKees Blom, on Flickr 42kay1 by JanKees Blom, on Flickr 12109 by JanKees Blom, on Flickr FS96356 by JanKees Blom, on Flickr half3 by JanKees Blom, on Flickr zombie00 by JanKees Blom, on Flickr 391 by JanKees Blom, on Flickr FS92117 by JanKees Blom, on Flickr this last one was from my last flight in FS9, before I moved to FSX (and P3D and MSFS), which gave more possibilities ground-texture wise, especially with ORBX textures, and better aircraft models as well. It was the A2A P-47 that lured me over.. If you still have nice FS9 shots, feel free to add them.
