Hi so like a few week ago i was at 40 fps everything set to ultra and everything on highest settings. Now i am at 8 fps i cant even fly i can not figure what the hell happen!! fs is on its own drive so i did not down load anything i did not do any changes any ideas?

Also i have a evga rtx2080ti and no matter what settings i play with with nothing ever changes up or down, what i mean is as i am looking at the fps if i go to max settings on evga precision software or the slowest nothing moves the fps or if i change everything on nvidia controll panel or in the bios nothing i change moves the fps on mfs or any game or program its like i can not change anything i am the admin and have full controll !!! any ideas?

What speed are you running your ram at? (4000mhz?) try dropping it a bit and see what happens. I have 3600mhz ram but I run it at a lower speed.

The 5950x does not have integrated graphics. Are you sure that is the processor you have? I think you are running integrated graphics? I guess it is possible the RTX 2080ti has partially failed, and you are only able to use a partial capability? Maybe it has a thermal protection system which has disabled most of the GPU since you are overclocking it so much? Edited by plainsman

i just checked my ram was act. at 2100!!! i raised it to 2600 nothing then went to 2800 and nothing..

i reset everything to defualt and still the same results.. yes that is the processor i have, u know funny u mention it but i did switch my mother board not too long afo and now i am thinking of it its around the time i lost all the frame rates my new mb is a rog crosshair viii dark hero, should i uninstall fs and reinstallit?

yes when i first got it i ran it for a long time stock and as i mentioned before i went back to default same thing..

omg!!!! i dont know what happen after i ran that program u sent mt the link for i just started fs and i have 69 fps!!!!!!!!!!!!! its like i don't even want to touch it!!! oh i also went to nvd control panel and i hit restore defaults also maybe was something in there!! just hope it stays this way lol !!! it is bouncing between 59 and 64!! oh well i knew i should not of opened my mouth !!! so i went to eat dinner i paused the flight, i was gone maybe 20 min come back start the flight i am back down to 8 fps!!! i give up!!!

Maybe something is set to go dormant when there isn't activity? Try a reboot and see if you get fps back up to normal? I guess it could also be some kind of thermal protection shutting down??

i did a few shut downs same results, i just uninstalled it i will reinstall it overnight maybe changing my mb and processor did something so we will see with a clean install...

so i did the re install and i got to say i think it worked i have restarted the game 10 times and the same results i am not getting 60 but same plane euro fighter doing 600knots over manhatten ny with all options on full i am getting 41 to 45 and its perfectly smooth so i am happy!!!i do not know much about software and programing but maybe when a program installs and one like this one it has embedded the setting from a mb or a cpu or memory and then i went and changed all 3 and it just might of done something!!! But i want to thank everyone for you support amd paintence with me !!!
