The little circle appears in the center of the screen and just goes round and round and never connects. Can someone give me a hint on how to troubleshoot this? Thanks! dogdish Posted April 1, 2022 Share Posted April 1, 2022 1. You might have a incompatible add-on in the Community folder. Close MSFS and try renaming the folder (example "Community_DISABLE") to disable everything. Then restart MSFS to see if you can open the Content Manager. MSFS will have regenerated a empty Community folder. Move your add-ons over one at a time. When the problem happens again, you will know which add-on is the culprit. 2. Then restart MSFS and it will regenerate fresh .dat files. and a new Content.xml. If MSFS starts OK, empty the Recycle bin. collltip Posted April 2, 2022 Share Posted April 2, 2022 I have this problem.My community folder tells me it has 30000 folders in it.It takes ages to isolate any file causing the problem.I intend to empty the folder before any future updates.Then do the update and check the contents folder.Finally copy the files back into the community folder.
