MSFS 2020 Refuses To Load

Recommended Posts

MSFS has been loading fine till today. Now when it gets to the screen with the yellow airplane and the Rhino it kicks back to my main Windows page. What gives with this program?

I had the exact thing you had AKA Crash To Desktop.

I tried ORBX's Nick Coopers clean out procedure and it loaded OK.

Hello,

before reporting a problem with an Orbx Central purchase for Microsoft Flight Simulator,

please do this first, in order to rule out other common causes of problems.

1. Delete any rolling cache.

2. Delete the Content.xml file.

(AppData\Local\Packages\Microsoft.FlightSimulator_8wekyb3d8bbwe\LocalCache\Content.xml)

3. Delete the simulator .dat files

(AppData\Local\Packages\Microsoft.FlightSimulator_8wekyb3d8bbwe\LocalCache\SceneryIndexes\*.dat)

4. Do not add anything to the Community folder before running MSFS again.

I skipped deleting the rolling cache though.
