Aks
My laptop exceeds the game's system requirements, but I want to know if it will be a smooth gaming experience. My system specs are: Processor: Intel Core I3 processor 2 Core, 2 GHz, 2000 MhZ RAM: 4GB RAM Graphics: Intel HD Graphics 520, 1 GB Adapter RAM I have enough hard disk space on my laptop. Can my computer run FSX Steam? Has anyone played this game on an older PC? How was your experience?
mrzippy
Game?? Ain't no game! 2 Ghz processor and no video card, you had better just run a vanilla install with no addons or changes to settings. Still thinking about a new flightsim only computer!

Jorgen I positively CRINGE when someone references a game as a simulator. Each to their own. ;) OP, probably best served with FS2002 or FS9. amberdog1
Aks you'll be ok, however if possible I'd add more ram. AD

lmhariano
TL;DR: No. The system requirements for FSX are too optimistic. I'm even doubting your laptop can run FS9 decently, judging from the GPU. Even with that, you'll need to move some sliders left. I still don't know how did I endure 4 years flying in a laptop with an Intel GPU. Luke
His onboard graphics is roughly equivalent to a GT730. Considering how little GPU usage FSX has, it's worth a shot. Cheers Luke
surrodox2001
Looking at your specs, your CPU is quite underpowered for FSX (RAM and GPU is fine though), if you wanna do FSX, you probably need to set your settings to low or tune it to your likings. Yeah, you probably better served with FS9.
