opcartmell
I don't think this system has enough power and ram to run msfs to any degree of satisfaction. You'll need at least 16 mb of ram and a pretty fast processor. I would be leery of a "dedicated graphics brand" graphics processor. Msfs places a heavy demand on the graphics processor. Also, MSFS is anything but light gaming. AMD Ryzen 7 3800X, GIGABYTE AMD Radeon 5700XT, 32mb DDR4 RAM @ 3600 mbs, Asrock X570 motherboard
g7rta
I would say no. This “light gaming pc†sounds like one of those scam ones on eBay which I would avoid like the plague. Are uk in the UK by any chance? I would go to somewhere like CCL Computers rather than ebay. STUART HARTLEY
Sorry Steve. Not that technical. Can you recommend a website/particular pc to buy from or am I better sticking with Currys/AO etc., taking their advice and buying from them? Cheers Stuart (Rochdale, Lancs)
g7rta
Hi Stuart, the cheap ones on eBay usually look good.. usually have fancy lighting etc, but if you look at the specs aren't good at all. Usually bundled with a list of copied games etc I personally would take a look at CCL in Bradford http://www.cclonline.com and check out their gaming PCs. They’ll probably cost a bit more than the ebay ones though Regards Steve Edited December 29, 2020 by g7rta Intel I9-13900K - Gigabyte Z790 Aorus Elite AX - 64Gb DDR5 5600Mhz - Asus RTX4090 ROG STRIX 24GB 3x 43” Panasonic 4k TVs - Corsair RMx 1200W PSU - 2 x 2TB M.2, 2 x 4TB SATA III and 1 x 4TB M.2 SSDs. Raven Flight
No on several accounts. You will need no less than 16 K Ram. They also don't give you the specifications for the RAM, nor what i5 processor we are talking about and Dedicated Graphic's Brand : Dell HP could mean anything or virtually nothing. Would suggest you browse through thread replies and check out what people are showing for rigs in their signature to get a better idea. Dell gets very low ratings on customer service too. UPHILL3
I believe Dell's intergrated graphics card is probably not going to meet the high resolution demands of MSFS 2020...
