PFD/MFD mapping issue

Recommended Posts

On FS2020, there is no mapping to keyboard options concerning the PFD/MFD displays. As an older player, it's difficult (for me) to use the mouse to handle the small multiuse function buttons, especially the range functions on the MFD map. On FSX this was one of the mapping options that made zooming in/out a breeze. Are there any suggestions, discussions, or plan to add this feature in future updates?

I think we will see more access to simconnect features in the future. It's just not a priority at the moment with people having problems with CTD's etc.

I could do with the range knob too for my home cockpit, it is one of the few things currently missing for me over what I had in FSX.

You can zoom in to the displays so that they fill the screen and make mouse adjustments much easier:

Ctrl+1 is the left screen (MFD) toggle (Ctrl+1 to zoom out again)

Ctrl+2 is usually the right screen (PFD) toggle, but sometimes it's the Autopilot panel in which case:

Ctrl+3 is then the right screen (PFD) toggle

Having zoomed in, you can press A to cycle to the next zoom view, or Shift+A to cycle back to the previous zoom view.

Zoom views include the screens, autopilot, throttle quadrant, console and overhead.
