Also below 10,000 feet you stay below 250 knots. Cavulife Posted October 31, 2020 Share Posted October 31, 2020 I've been flying the Longitude around 5000 feet and its been handy to use the Speed Brake combined with pulling back the power. MikeDV Posted November 6, 2020 Share Posted November 6, 2020 Drives me nuts too, especially trying to get the feel of the bigger birds with doing go arounds. I shut off all AP, flight director, auto throttle, everything I could find and and it seems to have worked. Also, turn up the "speed selector" of the aircraft in the cockpit, IE if it is set to, say, 220, then everything over that will trigger that overspeed warning. I just turned it way up even though I am not using it anyway (auto-throttle). Realistic? Not even in the ball park. But again, for go arounds and stick practice on a sim...
