Well, it was released in late 1999, 4 years before FS2004.

FS2000 was also the last of the Flight Simulator series to support the Windows 95 and Windows NT 4.0 operating systems.

Have a look here if you are using a supported operating system..

Also.. Why?

Hello,

I hope someone can step back a bit from FS2020 to answer a question.

What is the difference between FS2k and FS Pro 2K.

Is there a work around so Pro planes can be used in FS9.

Thank you,

Here's my attempt to answer this properly:

What is the difference between FS2k and FS Pro 2K.

The difference can be flattened down to FS2000 Pro has Mooney Bravo and King Air in the default planes' list and FS2000 don't.

There's also addons for 2000/2002 that requires the Pro version because they uses resources from these 2.

Is there a work around so Pro planes can be used in FS9.

You don't need a workaround as these planes work on FS9 but you have to click No when prompted to disable certain features when choosing the aircraft to make show properly.

Although they do work, problems with the aircraft model may occur.
