hobbitrocks
I have spent a lot of time re programming the software with keyboard, ch yoke and rudders and such. Where is that file stored so I can save it. I read someone said today that one of the updates took everything back to default settings. Hate to have to go through all of the reprogramming again. I looked around, but this software is definitely different than FSX. Any help would be very much appreciated. Hobbitrocks
Leadraft
I can't find the file either. I have old Saitek controllers that are not recognized and had to tediously program manually. It would be nice to back up that file. tiger1962
I have spent a lot of time re programming the software with keyboard, ch yoke and rudders and such. Where is that file stored so I can save it. There's a config file for each controller, e.g. one for yoke and another for pedals, but they have diabolical folder names such as: 35680D0DAC1548689410E4B527020639. You'll find them all in a folder called SystemAppData, which I just copied complete and saved elsewhere, and you can find it here: C:\Users\yourname\AppData\Local\Packages\Microsoft.FlightSimulator_8wekyb3d8bbwe\SystemAppData The actual config folders are in: SystemAppData\wgs\00090000088CC6A9_00000000000000000000000069F80140 I know I'd never remember all that, so I just copied the whole SystemAppData folder! Leadraft
C:\Users\yourname\AppData\Local\Packages\Microsoft.FlightSimulator_8wekyb3d8bbwe\SystemAppData Thanks tiger, but I do not have a folder called Microsoft.FlightSimulator_... in the packages folder. I am showing hidden files and folders. I also installed through Steam. tiger1962
The Steam directory structure is different to the MS Store structure - try doing a search for SystemAppData. Leadraft
I have located the controller profiles for the Steam version. Thanks to AlexE75 on the Flightsimulator forum for this info.
