loki
Yep, definitely the 9th gen Core i7. In case you haven't seen it yet, the min, recommended and ideal specs are on the official website. https://flightsimulator.zendesk.com/hc/en-us/articles/360013463459-Minimum-Recommended-and-Ideal-PC-Specifications-for-Microsoft-Flight-Simulator
il88pp
Not sure what you are asking. That first list is an entire computer. ( a somewhat outdated computer from around 2010/2011. (The I7-875k was launched in the second quarter of 2010)). The i7-9700 is a good and modern processor. However, it is only a processor. To make a pc out of it you would also need a mainboard, ram, videocard, ssd, computer case, etc. The i7-9700 would not fit in the mainboard that you mentioned in the list at the top. All other parts should also be upgraded. Only the ssd's could perhaps be reused. Also to make best use of the i7-9700 you will need to use Win10. JSkorna
For msfs you MUST have Win10. http://www.air-source.us/images/sigs/000219_195_jimskorna.png
