Daviator1964
Hi guys, a newbie to Flight Simming and going to enrol tomorrow for my PPL training. Look forward to reading the stuff on the site and hopefully getting a few tips. Dave
lnuss
Welcome, Dave. You might mention something about where you are and what you'll be flying as time goes on, and perhaps which sim(s) you've chosen. This site is great for asking questions about both simming and real aviation, with lots of real world pilots here, some even are or had been CFIs, plus there are some airline types here too. While your instructor should be the final word for you on anything in Real World (RW) flying, feel free to ask here (in the RW section below) if you need clarification on anything, and certainly ask whatever you need to know about simming. Hopefully your training goes well. One quick note, though: If you can keep your RW training going with at least two flights a week, it'll come out cheaper (fewer hours) and better (better retention of information) than if you spread things out more. Larry N. As Skylab would say: Remember: Aviation is NOT an exact Science!
