Thomas ruth A330 RR Textures

Hey Guy's!

Each time i download a T/Ruth texture and install it, the aircraft never comes up on the FSX menu.

Here is what i have done below to install them.

As you can see i have three aircraft installed.

All the model names are the same..RR.

 

Lufthansa shows on the menu but the other two, are no where to be seen in FSX.

The texture images have been resized yet, nothing shows what am i doing wrong?

Okay, look at your aircraft.cfg folder and look to see the name of the airfile. It will probably say

TomA333. Now look at the sim name for the Lufthansa. Sim name will be the same name as the Airfile.

 

The other two aircraft are not showing because those have the sim name of

AirbusA330-300-ThomasRuth. Change the sim name to the TomA333 and you will probably see these 2 additional aircraft!

Another thing I have noticed is the panel= entry where it has panel=A330 in the two new entries, delete the A330 from these, also the sound= entries has sound=RR in the new entries and the first has just sound=, delete the RR. Edited June 19, 2020 by PAULCRAIG

Good find Paul, I must have had my blinders on looking for the obvious. Once I saw that the sim name was different I went no further! I am sure he will now have 3 birds available!
