old_wombat
When Gold Coast Airport extended the runway, the freeway was put underneath the new runway . In FS, the runway on the "ground". So the freeway would have to go "underground". Is there any way, either through Airport for Windows, AFCAD or ADE, that this can be modelled? Steve from Murwilllumbah. tgibson_new
You can create a small flatten at the level of the freeway using ADE, but typically this depression will be too large. You then use GMAX or other program to create a ground object that fills in the depression. You'll also need to add or create a bridge underneath the runway. hjwalter
Tom, A flatten beneath the runway sounds logical but the runway itself then needs to be "hardened" above this freeway and on the constructed bridge. Is there any (simple) way of doing this ? Hans
tgibson_new
Hi, Put an apron route (taxi route, etc. - green ADE line) down the runway at that location. Make it just wide enough so you don't fall off of it. Tom Gibson CalClassic Propliner Page: http://www.calclassic.com
