P3D Scenery Convertion to FSX - Can it be done?

You probably need to be more specific; are you asking about scenery in general or some specific piece of P3D-only software. I use the same aircraft and scenery for both versions of FSX and two versions of P3D. I do NOT have the 64-bit P3Dv4.

Hooked since FS4... now flying:

self-built i7-4790 at 4 GHz; GA-Z97X mobo; GTX 970; 16GB gskill;

quiet, fast and cool running.

Scenery In General. I've seen some nice ORBX P3D scenery & some free P3D scenery. Just wondered if there was a way to convert.

P3DV4.5 is generally 64-bit specific, containng 64-bit feature sets. So NO 32-bit compatibility.

There are a few exceptions, however.

Try them all, and let us know any that are compatible...

Hmm, what if I want to convert bgl files (Ray Smith Sceneries for example) that are compatible for P3DV5 to FSX?

P3dV5 is a completely different (64-bit) sim and thus, incompatible. You're SOL if you think bgl files are convertible.

I would consider purchase of P3d, and V5 at that, before I would consider ANY such `conversion`!
