jankees
Flying Milton Shupes Martin B-26 Marauders this weekend I noticed that basically they come in three paintschemes: bare metal: jk1234 Green on top: jk2542 and fully camouflaged: jk2541 I'll admit a weakness to the green on top versions, what are your favorites? I found I have lots of screenshots from this angle, apparently I think it looks good this way.. OK, a few more then jk1250 jk1840 jk8525 jk2541 different angles? jk2721 jk2802 jk2673 Slapping paint on flightsim models you'll find all my FSX/P3D repaints here and all my MSFS repaints here. flightsimg
As I privilege realism, I would look on the Internet what versions were really used during WW2 :pilot: Gérard Guichard, Dijon, Burgundy, France. i5 Intel processor, 4 Go of Ram, Nvidia GeForce 920MX, DirectX 12.0, and FSX Gold Edition with SP1, SP2. jankees
all three of them. Camouflaged earlier on, then bare metal when the allies gained air superiority, but some bomb groups in the 9th AF went back for camouflage on top for tactical bombing raids in support of the allied advance, but then mainly for use on the ground, since the airfields they used where relatively close to the front line. In the 8th, strategic air force, they started out camouflaged but later went bare metal with bright colors, since recognizing each other became more important than hiding from the enemy. You know what the German army said of aircraft: if it's camouflaged, it's British, if it is shiny it's American, and if it's not there, it's German... The earlier shots were all 9th AF aircraft, but other used them as well, like the South Africans: jk1373 and the French: jk1418 jk1529 and the 15th AF based in Italy jk1757 jk2150 Edited December 2, 2019 by jankees Slapping paint on flightsim models you'll find all my FSX/P3D repaints here and all my MSFS repaints here. flightsimg
In that case, the question is a real one :) Think I prefer the bright one Gérard Guichard, Dijon, Burgundy, France. i5 Intel processor, 4 Go of Ram, Nvidia GeForce 920MX, DirectX 12.0, and FSX Gold Edition with SP1, SP2.
