pilotposer
Hello, I downloaded the FS9 EADS CASA 235-100 and there are no navigation lights. Anybody know how to light them up, the air file seems correct in the light section. I did notice there seems to be no FX_effects file for strobe lights in the initial download. Thank you
mrzippy
For the nav lights to work you need these effects in your Effects folder. Still thinking about a new flightsim only computer!
pilotposer
There doesnt seem to be an effects folder with this download. The landing lights work but I'm wondering if the nav lights weren't required when this plane took too the sky's. I'm also surprised as long as this download has been around that no one has mentioned the lack of nav lights.
mrzippy
The nav lights work on the download that I used. The effects are common navlite effects whichyou should have in your Effects folder. Not the best pic but they are there and working. Still thinking about a new flightsim only computer!
beroun
Hi, got the same download and the gear does not retract (G key). The aircraft is full of animations, so perhaps an assignment issue. Tested all three recent CASA downloads to no avail. Cannot retract the gear! Any clue? Otherwise great aircraft and nav-lights work for me. Peter Peter Bendl ex. mrzippy
Gear seems to react fine to the g key. Please excuse my stupidly opening the passenger door while flying! Still thinking about a new flightsim only computer!
beroun
Ouch sorry, mentioned the gear problem with a different CASA see download page. I though that is the one the nav lights were questioned here. Peter Peter Bendl ex. British Airways
mrzippy
This is the one I'm testing. It was the only one listed as a complete aircraft. pilotposer
I found the problem with the missing nav lights. I was using Nick's LightFix Version 2 and this overwrites the default lighting effects. Once I restored the lighting effects to the default files the lights, although faint, are there. Thanks Mr. Zippy for mentioning about the common navlite effects. This started the process of figuring out the problem.
pilotposer
After reinstalling Nick's LightFix Version 2 the nav lights are perfect. Thanks again for your help Zippy.
