Screen Flickering Problem

Hello all,

Apologies if I have posted to the wrong sub-forum, or if this problem has already been addressed somewhere else, but my searches have not produced anything.

I am new to FSX and have been experiencing a problem which seems to happen randomly but has been consistently happening since I started using FSX.

The problem is that, when I try to use fullscreen mode, I will get these black flickering lines / bars flashing up on my screen, which makes the game unplayable. This only occurs in fullscreen mode. I have attached a video below. Any advice you guys could give would be GREATLY appreciated, as nothing I have tried so far (messing with graphics and resolution settings) has worked.

Try this fix: go into the cfg file and add this line:

HighMemfix=1

Under the graphics settings.

If that doesn’t work, your graphics card may be dying.

It might be a good thing to post your system specs.
