Lines up ready to go. Warm day. Flap 20. 'Wet' take-off thrust'. (2.5 min limit)

Come on girl, VR! Oh boy super long take-off run. But we made it.

Room to spare.

Turned a little early but climb rate not so good with the -3A's. Thought I might hit some buildings so turned early. eek.

Yep, great performance...not. Back to rated thrust for 2.5 more mins.

Cleaned up, back to 1.30 EPR climb thrust. Climbing, kinda.

Bit more height, little cooler, and some higher EPR climb settings, and a little better climb rate. A little.

Past 10,000 ft, climb speed now 320kts. 3533nm to KIX...

the -3A's running out of puff in the warm OAT and at altitude.

Reduced climb thrust above FL250 as per Pan Am SOP's. Barely climbing.

Planned on FL320 intially but 300 is all I could get.

Enjoy one of the nicest livery's i think on the classic 747.

Nice pictures! Judging from them, you're flying the Posky 741 with the RFP 742 panel and CIVA INS... but what edits did you do to the panel?

Close. CLS model. CIVA. Some RFP panel and bits and pieces from elsewhere. And totally revamped FDE. Originally this one is for the 741/742 with JT9D-7A engines. Much nicer FDE then even the RFP 742. I've also made another option then the -7A that has some basic CFG changes to kinda mimic the -3A engines.
