Skywatcher12
Well, does anyone know whether FSPilotShop will ever return? Well, do you know why you think FSPilotShop is gone, out of business and not coming back? You're asking questions you have answered yourself. lol Mark Daniels
clrichey
Well, did you know that FSPilotShop still has a Facebook page anyways?
Skywatcher12
Looks like they simply haven't closed it. They have not been in communication with anyone via any means. They have well and truly vanished. Mark Daniels
clrichey
Well, I sent them a message though iMessenger on Facebook about whether the site will ever return the other day, eventhough they did not respond yet.
Skywatcher12
I think it’s safe to say it won’t return and they won’t reply. Nothing in this universe is forever. Mark Daniels
clrichey
Do you mean websites like that just automatically expire by themselves?
stretch
The FSPILOTSHOP is long gone! They started building a new site then quit on it! Aaron
clrichey
Do you think it is only because there were issues and they lost the site automatically? Edited December 20, 2019 by clrichey
UPHILL3
Now would be the time for a good tip to avoid losing Licensing keys, and then having to go thru the hassle of recovering them from payware developers: Copy and paste the key and order #: Then type-in the payware name (and perhaps the vendor) to a single word processor file, or document file as soon as you make a purchase - all your payware keys will now be in one place, hopefully forever (Make a backup of the file to another disc or thumbdrive). longbreak754
Do you think it is only because there were issues and they lost the site automatically? No - they have failed to renew the domain name license agreement when it was due for renewal OR choose not to renew and call it a day. I suspect the second option seeing as there has be reports of they failing to pay product authors money due from selling the products for some time now. Website domain names are controlled and have to be registered to be used. A company can either 'rent' the domain name for set periods or they register and pay to 'own' the full rights to the domain name so that they can trademark it as their property and/or brand. In the first case, the website is usually hosted on servers belonging to the service provider. In the second case it is usually for the company to host the website on its own servers or via a third party that specialises in such activity. clrichey
Why do you think they might have they chosen not to renew?
Founder Nels_Anderson Posted December 20, 2019 Founder Share Posted December 20, 2019 These same questions repeated over and over are just getting silly. FSPilotShop is a failed business. They lost money, could not pay their creditors and went out of business, letting their domain name lapse in the process. They certainly are not coming back -- who would shop there if they did? Thread closed.
