What is the file I need to examine when AI traffic has oversized blobby lights?

Hello,

It's been awhile since I focused on this issue, and have forgotten everything I once knew.

To correct, or mitigate oversized, blobby lights on AI traffic, what file(s) am I to focus on, and if there is a replacement, which do you all suggest?

AFAIK, those are in the model (MDL) file and I don't know how you change those except by editing the model.

It is every AI aircraft, so thought that it would be a global file, or setting I could examine for the fix.

If all the planes are from the same source then they probably all have them in the models. If it is your flyable aircraft too (i.e. all the lights), then you may have installed a halo.bmp replacement that you are not happy with.

I am confident it's the former, not the latter. But, I wonder why it only recently manifested into an issue..I'll continue to investigate. Thanks Tom!

I hate those lights and I too looked to see if there was a fix but as already mentioned they are in the model.

I have stated a few times on the forum addressing the matter to all model makers not to use those lights, they look ridiculous and not one bit real, they look like big balloons.
