Went from 32 bit windows 7 to 64 bit. Installed FSX opened ran great added SP1 same everything great. Though added SP2 and now it will not open in full windows mode. Only black square in to left of monitor and freezes. Am I missing something I need to have to make SP2 work?. Tried Acceleration not any better.

Best to not install any SP after main FSX install as the Acceleration addon will install the correct SP 1 and 2

Just to be sure, you did install outside of the programs folder to the root of C drive?

Definitely, since fresh install. Hope if he's re-installing FSX again doesn't run into activation issues. If so might have to run the Microsoft FSX licensing tool.
