mallcott
Quick question: How would you even know one was accurate and another wasn't? How many genuine He-111's have you heard?
napamule2
Something you might not be aware of: "Attention: the good return to high regime of a sound file sometimes depends on certain values of the flight model." by: 'Solobo' ( Frederic BOURMAUT) I imagine his PW sound set might do for the HE-111. I don't think you NEED to get a 4 engine sound set to enjoy this model. I don't...and I am stickler for engine SOUND... and I do think it's VERY important. Chuck B Napamule i7 2600K @ 3.4 Ghz (Turbo-Boost to 3.877 Ghz), Asus P8H67 Pro, Super Talent 8 Gb DDR3/1333 Dual Channel, XFX Radeon R7-360B 2Gb DDR5, Corsair 650 W PSU, Dell 23 in (2048x1152), Windows7 Pro 64 bit, MS Sidewinder Precision 2 Joy, Logitech K-360 wireless KB & Mouse, Targus PAUK10U USB Keypad for Throttle (F1 to F4)/Spoiler/Tailhook/Wing Fold/Pitch Trim/Parking Brake/Snap to 2D Panel/View Change. Installed on 250 Gb (D:). FS9 and FSX Acceleration (locked at 30 FPS).
f16jockey_2
I don't think you NEED to get a 4 engine sound set to enjoy this model. Obvious, as the He-111 is a twin... I don't care that much about sound (hearing nothing one sided, so I don't even know what stereo sounds like). Two observations nevertheless: - as malcott points out: who can judge the sound of historical aircraft, of which very few have survived the task they were designed for? - discussing the He-111 sound is useless unless specifying the subtype. All mayor German engine builders of the era (Junkers, BMW, Daimler-Benz) have at one point powered some type of Heinkel 111. Wim
