ladyapple Posted January 15, 2019 Share Posted January 15, 2019 Hi All, i have just tried to install Microsoft Flight Simulator X, running Windows 10. Yet again, it has almost loaded and crashed with an error code, without loading. It then runs a thing called roll-back and then disappears, please help. I love this simulator plus i have loads of Aircraft from this site as well. I have tried Microsoft forums, as you can no longer get hold of Microsoft which i find, disgusting after sales service. napamule2 Posted January 17, 2019 Share Posted January 17, 2019 Perhaps you installed FSX to 'C \Program Files\Flight Simulator X'. You will encounter problems if you do. Windows 10 (and Win 7) will not let you 'make changes' to files due to 'Permissions'. Install FSX to 'C \FSX' and you will find you can edit cfg files, etc. And what version of FSX do you have? FSX Gold (Deluxe with Acceleration)? FSX with service patch 1 and 2? Just curious.
