B707 Autopilot acting up

Recommended Posts

Hi,

Got this great B707 (pictures attached). On occasions the AP heading adjustment advances by 10 degrees (not the usual 1 degree) and altitude adjustment by 1000 ft (not the usual 100). So difficult to satisfy ATC. This mysteriously occurs and often mysteriously corrects it self. Perhaps another gauge affecting this?

Any clue on what could be causing this is appreciated.

Cheers

Peter

Hi Peter, this is "control acceleration" and is caused by the sim itself not having time to process smaller increments at certain times. In the full version of FSUIPC, in the Miscellaneous tab, check the option labelled Fix control acceleration.
