Creating FS9 Runway Markings

Hello,

I am looking for a better and faster way to create new runway marking

signs for FS9 airports.. Currently I create new signs with EZ Scenery. The problem is it is slow and tedious

trying to line up all the letters and numbers individually.

Any thoughts and suggestions will be greatly appreciated.

Are these signs painted on the runway, or 3D objects that sit beside it? And if the latter are they standard taxiway type signs (about that size and lettering type)?

They are 3d standard size objects that sit beside taxiways/runways. In EZ Scenery I am

using the ABWAlphanumericallibrary2.bgl scenery file. Using this process is tedious and I was just wondering if there was another way to make and place these 3d taxiway signs. Do scenery designers make these signs as a whole and place them that way in the airports they create.

ADE (Airport Design Editor) allows you to create signs by clicking a few boxes and typing in what you want the sign to say. Quite easy, as long as the standard colors are what you need.
