Wanted: advice on gauges in Mark Rooks F-86

Okay, this is not crucial, but . . .

I recently DLd Mark Rooks freeware F-86 Sabre FU-178. The readme files say 2 contradictory things: (1) unzip the gauges and put them in FSX/gauges; (2) put them in the F-86 panel folder. I tried one. Then the other. Then BOTH!

The plane flies fine, but there are 3 or 4 large gaps in the dashboard, obviously where the gauges are supposed to appear.

This is an old DL. Maybe the gauges will no longer work if you are running: FSX, SP1, Acceleration, like me.

Thanks

This is Kirk Olsson's F86 Sabre Jet not Mark Rooks. He did the paint job. The gauges go into the Bob Chicilo's panel if you want to use that panel instead of the one that comes with the aircraft. I tend to always put the gauges into the panel folder.

Still thinking about a new flightsim only computer!  ✈️
