uplands
I had this problem before and fixed it, but I bought a new computer and it is back again. I own my own copy of FSX Gold Edition and I am running it on Windows 10. The problem is Microsoft will now accept my Product Keys when I install FSX. I have been told they no longer support FSX, but someone told me there is a way around so you can activate FSX on Windows 10. All I remember is it something to due with my computer's Registry. Does anyone how to fix this,:confused as I am tired of only being able to use FSX for half an hour at a time. Thanks for your help, uplands
mrzippy
Give this a try and see if it helps. 1. run regedit (Windowskey +R) 2. Expand the following registry key: HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CURRENTCONTROLSET\CONTRO L\CLASS\{4D36E967- E325-11CE-BFC1-08002BE10318} 3. After you find the folder, double-click Upperfilters on the right side. 4. Change the value from 0 to PartMgr and/or remove any other settings and then click OK. 5. Close Registry Editor 6. Start FSX/Accel and you should get the registration wizard. Still thinking about a new flightsim only computer!
