davefr
I'm looking for some "fun" runs in a 737-800 with some challenge and interesting scenery. An example would be SLC to JAC. Both airports surrounded by mountains, really neat scenery like the Great Salt Lake, Grand Tetons. In addition JAC's short runway is a challenge for a newbie like me. What are some other "fun" places to go in 737-800? TIA
mrzippy
Some good challenges I like are Miami-Princess Juliana, Edinburgh-Leeds/Bradford, Katmando-Paro, Rome-Gibraltar. Just to name a few. Still thinking about a new flightsim only computer!
il88pp
Tempelhof (eddi? Not sure) to Innsbruck (lowi) is always nice. Buildings at end of rw eddi for tricky takeoff. Mountains around lowi are high. (Alps). Land at Rw26. And Ils leads into a mountain, so only use it to get low enough, then disconnect AP and AT, and make a turn to land manually. abarter
Try the route GOL flies in Brazil, SBSP (6000ft rqy on a 2100ft plateau) -SBRJ (4500 rwy on an island with mountains on two sides).
