michaeljulian
having taken a year to get my old computer to run FSw 2004 with Windows 10 but an appalling frame rate I have now installed FS2004 onto my new computer as C:/ Flight Simulator 9. However, although I have checked to see that the no-cd and noCD9.1 updates are there nothing starts from the icon ( i have removed the old FS9.exe file) - either as administrator or not. Any ideas I could follow?
tgibson_new
I'm not sure how you could have both no cd files since they are the same file? Try downloading that again and re-installing it. michaeljulian
I may have been careless in my wording. I have the 9.1 update and the no-cd9.1 both installed. I have deleted each in turn but to no effect
Skywatcher12
Have you tried launching directly from the FS9.exe in the main folder? Mark Daniels

michaeljulian
Finally cracked. I found that I had installed the complete folder instead of extracting the no-cd file alone
