P3Dv4 doesn't see FSDT sceneries installed outside of main folder.

I'm having this serious problem with these sceneries, and it's not a decade-known problem that has to do with virtuali live updater, this time I don't even see jetways, just a black stain.

With or without FTX vector, with or without ai traffic utility, Antivirus set to exclude P3D and FSDT folders. Tried everything conventional and P3Dv4 just keeps displaying a plain plateau. Some do display (KLAX, KJFK, KORD, KDFW - that's it).

 

If you run Vector AES, it doesn't even see all these airports, although it does see KMEM which doesn't help if excluded. Flightbeam sceneries display normally except for KPHX which is installed outside like FSDT sceneries. Runing live updater doesn't help, may be there is something to manually edit in some xml file???...

Sounds like you are trying to force non-compliant sceneries into P3Dv4..?

The solution is NOT to force non-compliant sceneries into v4.

Check that you have the latest downloads and that they are specifically intended for your version of the sim.

And try TELLING us which ones don't work.
