KOlohan
Hello All, First post here and I wish it was a more exciting one. I have dabbled with flight sims for several years but never got deeply entrenched. I have made the committment to dive in this time. Have recently purchased what I believe is the mother of all pc's (relative I know) and want to ensure I purchase the correct/capable monitor(s). The system: Intel® Core i7 8700 (6-Core/12-Thread, 12MB Cache, up to 4.6GHz with Intel® Turbo Boost Technology) NVIDIA® GeForce® GTX 1080 with 8GB GDDR5X 512GB M.2 PCIe Solid State Drive 1TB 7200RPM SATA 6Gb/s (Storage) 32GB Dual Channel DDR4 at 2667MHz (2X16GB) I have done a sizeable amount of shopping and related research but have not been able to find a decent account from what I would call a reputable source on what the minimum monitor requirements would be, what would be capable and what would be preferred. Really not concerned with brands at this point. My initial thinking and plan was 3 x 24". Perhaps a little ambitious right out of the gate. Hoping one of you experts can help point me in the right direction. Thanks, Kelly
RocketRod737
I use 3 Acer G246HL's. I also got 3 DVI to Display port cables to hook them up to the 1080. I don't use the spanning mode, but 3 distinct screens in XP.
