sop-player
Hi, I'm new to FS2002 which I'm using in Win7. I downloaded tiger moth(raf) and installed as per instructions in "red me" Tried to create a flight using the moth but when I clicked "fly now the cessna panel appeared on the screen. What have I done wrong? Thanks in advance.
mrzippy
Some so called "Full aircraft" may have an aliased panel. Check your panel folder and see if there is just a panel.cfg inside. Open the panel.cfg and see if it is an alias to the Cessna panel. Still thinking about a new flightsim only computer!
napamule2
You can't go wrong by using the C182 panel. It's ok. If you look for a panel for the Tiger Moth you will find ONLY 1 for FS2002 but it requires gauges from FS2000 and/or CFS aircraft to work. But at least you can add your own (FS2002) gauges to panel cfg and fix it so it works. And you can use the panel from any FS2002 default plane that you might like. Being there .. done that. Sometimes sims are a lot of work and some headaches. But we're still here! sop-player
Hello, I just checked and the problem seems to be that having selected the Moth, when I click fly now, the program defaults back to the Cessna. Why? Thanks for the previous answers.
sop-player
I missed an obvious. I tried to change to other aircraft and each time "fly now" defaulted back to the Cessna. I guess I better try re-installing the whole program.
sop-player
That did it|| re-installed and the problem was solved. Sorry if I took up time over a fault that was basically some thing I should have seen for myself.
napamule2
Glad you got it sorted out. I sometimes install an airplane and leave something out, or use wrong name for the air file, and will wind up with the C172 going to the South Pole, in the water, and have to (quickly) go to 'World Chuck B Napamule i7 2600K @ 3.4 Ghz (Turbo-Boost to 3.877 Ghz), Asus P8H67 Pro, Super Talent 8 Gb DDR3/1333 Dual Channel, XFX Radeon R7-360B 2Gb DDR5, Corsair 650 W PSU, Dell 23 in (2048x1152), Windows7 Pro 64 bit, MS Sidewinder Precision 2 Joy, Logitech K-360 wireless KB & Mouse, Targus PAUK10U USB Keypad for Throttle (F1 to F4)/Spoiler/Tailhook/Wing Fold/Pitch Trim/Parking Brake/Snap to 2D Panel/View Change.
