Allen Craig
Not inside, outside, behind the engines... Milton Shupe's Aero Design / Aero Commander aircraft, the 500, 520, 560, and 680s ALL smoke like this. Mixture controls are set properly. There is NO smoke effect in any of the aircraft.cfg's Yet they all smoke. Aircraft do NOT normally smoke like this. If someone got you on the radio and informed you of such smoking, you would land ASAP and check out the problem. Cuz there IS a problem, normally aircraft do NOT smoke like that. I'm stumped, any ideas how to get rid of that?
PhantomTweak
Have you tried asking in one of Milton's threads over on Sim Outhouse? Each of those planes has it's own thread. Or, I can go ask him. He really is a very good sort of person, and answers questions like that. Pat☺ [sIGPIC][/sIGPIC] Had a thought...then there was the smell of something burning, and sparks, and then a big fire, and then the lights went out! I guess I better not do that again! Allen Craig
Ok, I'll try that Thanx
berlopez
Definately something wrong with Mixture. Or check the [smoke] section of the aircraft .cfg, though it's just a bunch of numbers, check on the net how to change them to increase/decrease the amount of smoke. Another suggestion is to reduce ( Move Left) the bar for special effects in FSX.
mrzippy
I downloaded and installed one of Milton Shupe's Aero Commanders. In the aircraft.cfg I made one change to the air/fuel mixture=0 and changed it to 1. Basically, auto mixture control. No smoke at a cruise altitude of 3500 feet at 180 knots. Still thinking about a new flightsim only computer!
